targetDrop is a menu in the Tethyr interface that is used to set the target playlist for pItem actions such as importing or moving pItem.
Keeping settings
When you make a selection in the targetDrop it will remember the selection and keep using that target until you change it again. *
targetDrop location
targetDrop appears in different parts of the Tethyr UI. Changing one targetDrop changes the settings for all of the locations.

What displays in the targetDrop?
targetDrop shows the playlists in the currently selected pGroup as well as the playlists in the user pGroup.
Exceptions
If you have a pGroup selected and you set one of the pList in that pGroup as the target and then you switch to a different pGroup then the target will reset to user pGroup pList ID#0 (the first playlist in your user pGroup).
Use example
Let us imagine you are working on a motion graphics compisiton and you are looking for backgrounds to use as refrence for a particular scene. That project has a pGroup and you create a pList in there called “sc12 ref backgrounds” then you set it as the target in the targetDrop now all the items you import will go directly to that pList.
After you are done you switch away from the pGroup then the tergetDrop defaults back to your user pGroup and content you import goes into your “watching” pList.
